Check FHA Approval Status

Your first step in the FHA Condominium Project Approval process is to check on the status of your Association with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Click to access: https://entp.hud.gov/idapp/html/condlook.cfm

You will then enter your zip code and submit.  Listed on the report will be all of the Associations who have, at one time or another, submitted to HUD for FHA Condominium Project Approval and their current status with HUD.  You will find the Associations listed as approved, with an expiration date sometime in the future.  Approval expired, with an expiration date sometime in the past (FHA approvals are required to be renewed every two years) or rejected which means that the association was submitted, but, for one reason or another could not meet the strict FHA requirements for approval.  If your Association is not listed under your zip code, it has never been submitted for review or approval.
